My mama's from the West Indies. Her skin colour is richer than mine, very much like the right side of the face. My dad on the other hand was born of the lighter hue. He has an authentic blonde/red mustache, soft curly hair and hazel eyes.
Ohh my goodness! I'll say one thing. This had my head turning everytime I looked at it. Wht threw me off were your fingers. The complection of the brown skin on your face and then down to your fingers made me really think of how you did this. I tried my hardest to put the two together but I just couldn't seem to. In all honesty I love art that is able to do that. This piece is brilliantly beautiful and it should represent anyone out there who is mixed like you and I. Keep up the magnificent work
I've never seen a portrait that speaks to me as much is this one does. It speaks volumes, especially to my own mixed ancestry! Thanks for sharing your vision.

This is circulating Tumblr, thought you would like to know. They seem to have cropped out your name. I recognized it immediately, even though I faved it years ago.
